In this work, gold mines located in Kirazlı (Kaz Mountains), Kışladağ (Uşak), and Fatsa (Ordu) are mapped using satellite imagery and then engraved onto wooden plates prepared for printing. In the satellite images, the pits and damaged surfaces caused by the mines stand out from their surrounding forests. This series of wood engravings reproduce the leftover traces and marks on the earth’s surface.
